Keith Kelley Press release

Calhoun County, AL – The Alabama Forestry Association (AFA) announces its endorsement of Chip Beeker for the Public Service Commission Place Two, Keith Kelley for Alabama Senate District 12 and Robert Stewart for Senate District 23. These candidates are seeking the nomination for their prospective seats in the primary runoff election on Tuesday, June 21.

Beeker is running for reelection for Place Two which he has served in this position since 2014. He previously served as a member of the State Executive Committee of the Alabama Republican Party and also chaired the Greene County Commission. Before being elected to the PSC, Beeker owned and operated Beeker Catfish and Cattle Farms in Eutaw. He has been a member of AFA for many years. Beeker and his wife, Teresa, have three children and eleven grandchildren.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Alabama Forestry Association, an industry that is so highly thought of in our state and contributes a great deal to our economy,” said Beeker. “It is my privilege to receive the forestry association’s trust as I continue my re-election effort. I will continue to work hard and fight for Alabama and keep DC policies out of our state.”

Kelley is running for Senate District 12 which covers Calhoun and Talladega Counties. He has been the president of Harris-McKay Realty for over 26 years. “The Alabama Forestry Association represents the backbone of our state’s economy and I am honored to receive their endorsement,” said Kelley. “I will fight for Alabama’s land owners in the Alabama State Senate and will ensure the voices of these hard working families are represented. Alabama landowners want what most citizen’s want, lower taxes, less regulation, and someone that will fight for our conservative values.”
