Anniston, AL – The Jim & Shirley Justice Center, headquarters of the Calhoun County Democrats, is seeking the community’s support in an urgent initiative to gather non-perishable items for those in need. This donation drive aims to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families facing hardship.
The collection will take place at the Justice Center on:
- Wednesday, November 20, between 10 AM and 4 PM
- Thursday, November 21, starting at 6 PM
The initiative’s short notice stems from the team’s recent focus on the election, which has consumed much of their time and resources. Despite the time constraints, the organization is determined to rally the community in a spirit of generosity and compassion.
“This is an opportunity for all of us to come together and support our neighbors who are struggling,” a spokesperson for the Calhoun County Democrats said. “Your contributions, no matter how big or small, can create a meaningful impact.”
Donations of non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and other shelf-stable products are especially encouraged. Every contribution helps ensure no one in the community is left behind during these challenging times.
The Calhoun County Democrats express heartfelt gratitude to everyone willing to contribute and extend their apologies for the short notice. “Together, we can make a real difference,” the spokesperson added.
Community members are encouraged to drop by the Justice Center during the designated hours to lend their support to this critical cause. Let’s unite in compassion and generosity to uplift those in need.
