Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University is hosting an exciting event for vocal enthusiasts and professionals. From July 7th through July 10th, the McClosky Institute of Voice will present its renowned voice seminar, “Free Your Voice.” This seminar is designed to teach participants how the McClosky Technique works with their bodies to create their best voice—one that is easily produced, long-lived, and uniquely their own.
Since 1982, this seminar has been a summer staple, alternating between informative lectures and small-group sessions focused on individual technique. Attendees will gain valuable insights into vocal production and preservation, making it an ideal opportunity for singers, speakers, and voice professionals to enhance their skills.
In addition to the educational sessions, the seminar includes an opening night BBQ and a faculty recital, offering attendees a chance to socialize and enjoy performances by experienced vocal instructors. The cost for the seminar is $550.
