Munford, AL – A devastating single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian has resulted in the tragic death of a 23-year-old woman from Jackson, Georgia. Gi’kia B. Green lost her life in the incident that occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 20. The crash unfolded on Alabama 21 near Reinier Lane, within the city limits of Munford.
The pedestrian, Gi’kia B. Green, was struck by a 2004 Lexus ES330 driven by Pamlynn S. Montgomery, 55, of Alpine. Despite prompt response and efforts, Green succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by Troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division. As of now, no further details have been released regarding the incident.
