JACKSONVILLE, AL — Two men have been charged in connection with a rape investigation stemming from an incident reported at the Delta Chi fraternity house at Jacksonville State University in November 2025.
Logan Sollami, 20, of Jacksonville, and Caleb Stephens, 23, of Attalla, were each charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy, according to case summary documents. Both men were arrested Sept. 1.
The charges relate to an incident reported to have occurred between 10:16 a.m. Nov. 22, 2025, and 1 p.m. Nov. 23, 2025, at the Delta Chi fraternity house.
According to the University Police report, the alleged victim was a 19-year-old woman who was not a Jax State student.
Case documents indicate Stephens was held on a $50,000 bond, while Sollami was held on a $150,000 bond. Neither man appeared on the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office online inmate roster as of Monday afternoon.
Stephens’ attorney, Michael Askew, declined to comment on the case.
Under Alabama law, first-degree rape is a Class A felony. A Class A felony carries a potential prison sentence of 10 years to life. First-degree sodomy is also classified as a Class A felony under Alabama law.
The charges are allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
