Calhoun County, AL – A two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer caused a temporary lane closure on Interstate 20 westbound in Calhoun County early Tuesday morning.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at approximately 5:32 a.m. near the 191 mile marker. The incident blocked the left westbound lane of I-20 for an undetermined amount of time as troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the scene and investigated the crash.
Authorities monitored traffic conditions and provided updates throughout the morning.
ALEA later confirmed that all lanes have reopened and the roadway is now clear. No additional details regarding injuries or the cause of the crash were immediately available as of Tuesday morning.
