Anniston, AL – The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County is hosting a heartwarming event on Sunday, February 2nd, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Children’s Department. Children of all ages are invited to come and create Valentine’s Day cards for elderly residents of senior living and retirement homes across Calhoun County.
This free event allows kids to show their love and appreciation by making personalized Valentine’s cards for those who may not receive many visitors during the holiday. Participants will also receive a special prize for their efforts, making it a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
The library encourages young hearts to join in this community effort to spread joy to seniors, while also giving children an opportunity to practice kindness and creativity. No prior registration is required, and the event is open to children of all ages.
Come celebrate the spirit of giving this Valentine’s Day at the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County!
