Valentine’s Llama Brunch at Redbird Willow Farm: A Heartfelt Celebration of Friendship in Anniston

Galentines Day

Anniston, AL – On Saturday, February 8th, love was in the air at Redbird Willow Farm, where best friends gathered for the one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Llama Brunch. This wasn’t just an event—it was a celebration of the bonds we share with those who mean the most to us, all in the company of the farm’s most adorable residents.

From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the farm became a sanctuary for laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. Guests were treated to a delicious buffet brunch featuring fresh fruit, pastries, decadent desserts, refreshing juices, mimosas (for those 21+), and more tasty surprises. But what made this brunch truly special was the chance to brunch alongside 6-10 lovable pink llamas, some of whom were dressed in Valentine’s Day pink outfits, adding an extra dose of charm to the occasion. Guests had plenty of opportunities to snap photos, pet the llamas, and connect with these gentle creatures in a way that only Redbird Willow Farm can offer.

Owner Michele Hornsby shared her heartfelt gratitude for the success of the event, saying, “I love hosting events that bring people together and make them smile. It’s truly fulfilling to see everyone enjoying the beauty and peace of the farm. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing Redbird Willow Farm Family, including volunteers who worked so hard to make it all happen.”

Application

Beyond the brunch, visitors also had access to the full farm, which included cuddle time with the llamas and the newest addition to the family, Sookie the adorable baby goat. This writer even had the special privilege of spending quality time with Sookie, bottle-feeding her and feeling the joy of connecting with the sweet little goat. The farm’s tranquil atmosphere offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hornsby emphasized the importance of getting in touch with nature and the therapeutic benefits of spending time with the llamas and and all the animals. “It’s a healing space,” she noted. “Our animals, especially the llamas, offer something special that touches the heart. It’s something everyone should experience.”
