Weaver Boys Sweep Two Duals, Girls Claim Win as Cleburne County Improves to 20-1

Weaver boys win two duals, and girls win one. Cleburne County boys run duals record to 20-1 with two victories.

 

WEAVER — Weaver’s boys and girls won duals at home Tuesday, with the boys beating Cherokee County 69-6 and White Plains 67-12 and the girls beating White Plains 66-6.

The following Weaver boys went 2-0 on the night: Bradyn Scott (106), Jonathan Gochenouer (120), Peyton Andrews (132), Haiden Hise (138), Aiden Overton (144), Isaac Overton (150), Gabriel Snyder (157), Dylan Brown (165), Gianluca Torres (175), Dalton Fink (190) and Zachary Hooks (215).

Winning for Weaver’s girls were Sarah Gokey (100), Josie Gochenouer (107), Ali Anderson (114), Jaylee Carter (120), Chloey Pippin (126), Ashlyn Coleman (132), Ariel Sargent (138), Caitlyn Edmondson (145), Nevaeh Cobb (152), Heaven Bishop (165) and Mia Willliams (235).

CLEBURNE COUNTY: The Tigers defeated Mt. Zion (Ga.) 65-12 and Gadsden City 80-0. Hudson Braxton (106), Connor Causey (113), Zeke Martin (120), Owen Young (126), Jacob Biggers (132), Liam Mays (138), Laken Stanley (144), Cael Fulmer (150), Hayden Norris (157), Kendal Miller (190), Rylan Hill (190/215), Kolton Haynes (215) and Zander Martin (285) went undefeated as Cleburne County improved its duals record to 20-1.
