    • Shirley Millwood running for Probate Judge. She mentioned she took the most votes in Weaver. She would like to request votes on April 16th. She also provided her history and experience.

  • Minutes from February 27th meeting – Unanimously Approved
  • Public Works – Director Ingram
    • Halfway through switching over the meters.
  • Chief Bush – Written Report Submitted
  • Chief Bunn
    • Planning Zoning Meeting on March 19th at 6:00 pm.
    • Stated that the situation of Code Violations on Parker are sill being dealt with.
  • Administration – No Report
  • Councilmember Burns – No Report
  • Councilmember McRae – Cleanup will be April 20th from 10:00 am to noon. All supplies will be provided. The meeting will be at Elwell Park.

    • Ordinance #2023-01- Authorizing the City of Weaver to Join the State of Alabama and Other Local Governments as Participants in Current and Future Opioid Settlements – No Action Needed
  • New Business
    • Resolution 2024-02 Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Contracts with Alabama Power for Lighting Services to Upgrade All City Streetlights to LED – Unanimously Approved
  • Mayors Report
    • Will be advertising a set of plants for 17 streets to be paved in Weaver.
  • Public Comments
    • Mike Warren attended City Planing meeting and they approved a five year plan.
    • Greg Pierce asked Councilmember Hamby for an update on mattress dumping issues. She told him it had been discussed and they would be placing signage.
