Ohatchee, AL — On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, WeWomen Inc. will host “Leading with Confidence,” a private, one-day leadership event for women leaders of Jacksonville State University. The retreat will take place at Otter Creek Farmstead in Ohatchee, providing a serene and inspiring backdrop for personal and professional development.
Organized by Heather Curry (Beers), a Jacksonville State University alumna and founder of WeWomen Inc., the event is designed to encourage confidence, connection, and growth among women in leadership. Curry, a former collegiate volleyball and basketball athlete, brings her passion for mentorship and empowerment into the curated programming for the day.
Participants will engage in development sessions focused on leadership presence, self-awareness, and personal growth. The event also offers a chance to build meaningful connections through conversation and reflection in a natural setting.
Curry emphasized the importance of authenticity in leadership, stating that the goal is to create an environment where participants “feel seen, supported, and inspired to lead with authenticity.”
This leadership event is part of WeWomen Inc.’s broader mission to support and elevate women through outdoor-based experiences rooted in courage, confidence, and connection.
