Jacksonville State University wanted to update the public as well as students and staff about upcoming work that has started at JSU.

The university broke ground on the installation of a new fountain in front of Angle Hall this week. The beautiful new water feature, to be located in the courtyard in front of the administration building, will be the first of its kind on campus.

Work began on Tuesday, Oct. 12, and is scheduled for completion the end of January. While temporary fencing will be placed on the front lawn of the building, the front entrance will remain open. Additionally, the parking spaces on the side of Angle Hall, across from Ayers Hall, will be closed for contractor parking. More information will be released about the new feature in the coming weeks.
