Worlds of Work Volunteers Needed

Oxford, AL –  For three days, March 7-9, 2023, more than 8,000 eighth graders and high school juniors will converge on the Oxford Civic Center for the region’s largest hands-on career exploration event, Worlds of Work. More than one hundred career presenters will give these students the rare opportunity to have a hands-on experience with a variety of career options in ten career worlds:

Agriculture and Outdoor Resources • Automotive and Manufacturing • Communications, Media and Marketing • Construction • Education and Training • Energy and Utilities • Engineering • Healthcare • Public Safety • Transportation, Distribution and Logistics

East Alabama Works need more than 200 volunteers to be class guides, time keepers, zone monitors, flex volunteers, bus parking volunteers and more. Just follow the link below to sign up for volunteer times and positions on the days you would like to help.

Reaching students with information and insight about their upcoming career possibilities is key to the future of Alabama’s workforce and productivity, and you can help make it happen.
