Calhoun County, AL – On Saturday, December 17th the McClellan Development Authority will host Wreaths Across America Annual Wreath-Laying at Fort McClellan Post Cemetery. This event will start at 11:00 am.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, WAA’s mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. McClellan is proud to have the local Post Cemetery participate in this nationwide event.
On Saturday, December 17th, at 11:00 am, Wreaths Across America volunteers and coordinators will be at the Fort McClellan Post Cemetery. All are invited to attend as a spectator, register to volunteer, or sponsor a wreath for the ceremony.
