Calhoun County, AL – The YMCA of Calhoun County is inviting the community to participate in its annual Day of Giving on Tuesday, March 4, a one-day fundraising event aimed at supporting local families through scholarships and youth programs.
Funds raised during the event will go toward financial assistance for youth programming, summer day camps, after-school care, swim lessons, and YMCA memberships. The organization has set a goal of $5,000 for the day.
Community members are encouraged to stop by the YMCA of Calhoun County to learn more about its programs, enjoy refreshments, and contribute in person. Donors who give $50 or more will receive a free YMCA Day of Giving t-shirt. YMCA staff will also be on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the facility.
