LINCOLN, AL — Municipal leaders, Alabama state representatives, professional anglers and representatives from the Alabama Department of Natural Resources are scheduled to gather at Lincoln Landing in Lincoln for the second annual bass release event hosted by Restock Alabama at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
The event will mark the release of 50,000 largemouth bass into Logan Martin Lake as part of the nonprofit organization’s ongoing fish stocking initiative aimed at supporting Alabama waterways and fisheries.
According to organizers, the 2026 stocking event reflects continued collaboration between professional anglers, local businesses, Alabama lawmakers and conservation partners. Professional anglers expected to participate in the release include Will Davis Jr., Jordan Lee, Tucker Smith and Logan Parks. High school and collegiate bass tournament anglers are also expected to attend.
Restock Alabama organizers credited the support of Alabama lawmakers, including Keith Kelley, Ben Robbins and Craig Lipscomb, for helping advance the program.
“Seeing Restock Alabama gain this much momentum in a year has been so special. This is a passion project for those of us who love Alabama’s waterways and all they have to offer,” said Lee Holmes of Sylacauga Marine & ATV. “Support for the sport of bass fishing runs deep in Alabama, and we can’t wait to see this initiative continue to grow, ensuring our children and generations to come enjoy the quality of fishing that we have enjoyed.”
The event will take place at Lincoln Landing, located at 740 Travis Drive in Lincoln. Organizers stated that supporters of Restock Alabama will be available for comment during the event.
