RAINBOW CITY, AL — The City of Rainbow City will host its 4th Annual Freedom Flight Drone Show on Saturday, June 27, at the Rainbow City Mega SportsPlex, located at 625 Kenzie Lane.
The community event will run from 4 p.m. until approximately 9:30 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, a children’s activity area, and a patriotic drone light show.
According to event organizers, this year’s program will recognize America 250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The evening will conclude with a drone show designed to celebrate the nation’s history through coordinated aerial light displays.
Entertainment is scheduled throughout the evening and includes performances by Grayson & Dean, Pioneer Chicken Stand, and Will Moseley. A sponsor drone flight is also planned before the main patriotic drone presentation.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the outdoor festivities. The event is open to the public and is intended as a family-friendly celebration of community and patriotism.
