Jacksonville, AL – Residents interested in learning a new craft will have an opportunity to explore the basics of cross-stitch during a beginner-friendly workshop at the Jacksonville Community Center next weekend.
The Beginner Cross-Stitch and Charcuterie workshop is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center. The event is being hosted by Folksonomy Craft Studio and Laney O’Neal.
According to the event organizers, participants will receive instruction in the fundamentals of cross-stitch, with all materials provided. Attendees will also receive an activity kit to take home, along with refreshments during the event.
Tickets are $15 per person, which covers the cost of the take-home kit, venue expenses and refreshments. Organizers note that attendance is limited to 20 participants, and advance payment is required to reserve a spot. Payment can be made through Venmo or Cash App as listed in the event details.
Participants are also asked to complete an information form before the workshop to help organizers prepare for attendees’ experience levels and snack preferences.
