JACKSONVILLE, AL — Genesis Worship Center will host a community food giveaway through its Matthew 25 Project on Saturday, July 25, beginning at 10 a.m. at the church, located at 251 Rocky Hollow Road in Jacksonville.
According to the event announcement, food will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m. and will continue until supplies are gone.
The giveaway is open to individuals and families in need. Organizers ask that participants bring a valid ID, noting that distribution is limited to one per household.
Genesis Worship Center is also encouraging community members to share information about the event with others who may benefit from the food distribution.
The Matthew 25 Project is named after the biblical passage that emphasizes serving those in need and is one of the church’s community outreach efforts.
