Gamecocks Go Global as Pandemic Eases Grip

Jacksonville, AL – Per the Jacksonville State University media department study abroad activities are picking back up, with faculty leading three programs this summer. Four students from the College of Education and Professional Studies traveled with Dr. Kimberly Warfield to Italy, five Honors Program students went to Ireland with Dr. Lori Owens and seven students from the College of Arts and Humanities studied in Spain with Dr. Eduardo Pacheco. Interested in studying abroad? Mark your calendar for a Study Abroad Fair hosted by the Office of the International House and Programs on Oct. 4, 1:30-3:30 p.m., in Leone Cole Auditorium.

JSU has enrolled a record number of new international students this fall – nearly 70 – while the International House is hosting students from 19 countries this year.
