dolores hydock presents shelf life a ramble through the dewey decimal system

Anniston, AL – On Tuesday, September 19th the Anniston Library will host new program by Dolores Hydock at 2:00 pm. Join Master Storyteller, Dolores Hydock as she takes us on a “Ramble Through the Dewey Decimal System”.

Melvil Dewey and Andrew Carnegie played key roles in developing the modern public library system. The backstory of these two men is a fascinating look into what drove their interest in libraries, and how their contribution continues to affect communities today.
This program also includes some stories that show the variety of entertainment, education, and inspiration that can be found in a “ramble” through library shelves.
