    • Commendations – Police Department
      • Oxford police officers were honored tonight at the city council meeting: The American Legion presented Law Enforcement of the Year to Austin Pitts.
        Chief Bill Partridge awarded commendations to Inv. Michael Green and Sgt. Jonathan McMichael for bravery after disarming an individual, and bringing a standoff to a successful conclusion.

    • Public Hearing – to consider a zoning request from Danny and Kay Butterworth to zone property located at 3768 McIntosh Road as Agricultural District (AG)
    • Public Hearing – to consider a request from Stan Bush, Diann F. Caulder, Karleen Pate, Katey Pate, Patricia Kerr and PAC Enterprises, LLC to vacate an alley running southwesterly off Mattison Road.
    • Public Hearing – to receive comments on the condemnation notice sent to Melinda McKeown, Megan Cooper and Alabama Medicaid for a structure located at 35 Alan Street to show cause, if any, as to why the structure located on the property should not be condemned
    • Ordinance No. 2024- 04 – Ordinance zoning property located at 3768 McIntosh Road as Agricultural District (AG) – Unanimously Approved 
    • Ordinance No. 2024- 05 – Ordinance annexing the property of James and Teresa Denney, 200 Denney Road, Talladega County.- Unanimously Approved 
    • Ordinance No. 2024- 06 – Ordinance annexing the property of Michael Ray, 3084 Gunnells Lane, Talladega County. – Unanimously Approved 
    • Resolution No. 2024- 17  – Resolution vacating an alley that runs souhtwesterly off Mattison Road – Unanimously Approved 
    • Resolution No. 2024- 18  – Resolution condemning the structure located at 35 Alan Street – Unanimously Approved 
  • Consent Agenda – Unanimously Approved 
    • Resolution No. 2024- 19  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 225 E. Oak Street in the total amount of $13,503.24.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 20  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 225 E. Oak Street in the total amount of $568.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 21  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 22 Michael Lane in the total amount of $184.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 22  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 107 Williamson Avenue in the total amount of $368.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 23  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 1515 Forney Street in the total amount of $184.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 24  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 906 Pinecliff Drive in the total amount of $184.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 25  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 1042 Turner Road in the total amount of $284.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 26  – Resolution for the placement of a Municipal Lien on the property located at 25 Main Street in the total amount of $184.00.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 27 – Resolution revising the Façade Improvement Program and amending the FY 2024 Budget in the total amount of $44,000.00 for the purpose of expanding the Façade Improvement Program.
    • Resolution No. 2024- 28 – Resolution declaring certain vehicles/equipment surplus and authorizing their sale/disposal.
  • Set Public Hearings for March 12, 2024, to consider the following requests which were considered by the Oxford Planning Commission at their February 6, 2024 meeting:
    • Zoning request from James and Teresa Denney to zone property located at 200 Denney Road as Residential District (R-1)
    • Zoning request from Michael Ray to zone property located at 3084 Gunnells Lane as Residential District (R-1)
  • Motion to adjourn  – Unanimously Approved
