Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museum of Natural History is thrilled to announce the launch of “Testudines Tuesdays,” a weekly event set to take place every Tuesday in July from 2:00 to 2:30 PM. Visitors are invited to meet and learn about the museum’s fascinating collection of turtles and tortoises in the Tropical Courtyard Garden.

Home to eight reptiles in the scientific order Testudines, the Anniston Museum offers a unique opportunity for guests to get up close and personal with these scaly, shelled ambassadors. Each session of Testudines Tuesdays will feature one or more of the museum’s resident turtles and tortoises, providing an educational and engaging experience for all attendees.

This program is included with museum admission and is free for Anniston Museum and Gardens members. It’s an excellent chance for families, students, and nature enthusiasts to explore the world of reptiles and enjoy the serene surroundings of the Tropical Courtyard Garden.
