Financial Management Workshop Aims to Empower Local Residents with Practical Budgeting Skills

OXFORD, AL – On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m., the Oxford Library will host a free financial education event designed to help community members take control of their personal finances. Titled the WISE (Weekly Income, Saving & Expenses) Money Management Workshop, the one-hour session will provide attendees with tools to better track income and expenses, create and manage a personal budget, and prepare for both planned and unexpected financial situations.

The workshop will be led by Angela Taylor, a Regional Extension Agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Participants will be guided through eight practical steps aimed at building a sustainable monthly money plan. All attendees will also receive a complimentary money management calendar.
