Anniston, AL – The Anniston Downtown Market, in collaboration with the City of Anniston, will host a special Independence Weekend celebration on Saturday, July 5, 2025, beginning at 7:00 a.m. The event will take place at 126 West 11th Street in downtown Anniston and is sponsored by Alabama Power Company.
The celebration will highlight a variety of local vendors, including farmers, growers, producers, artisans, and craftsmen. Attendees can expect live music from local performer Robert Grind, as well as a special chef’s demonstration by Stacey Hardy of PondeRosie Farms and Rosie’s Gourmet-to-Go. Hardy will prepare dishes using fresh, seasonal produce sourced directly from the market’s vendors.
The family-friendly event will also include a complimentary edible craft activity for children, table games, and additional interactive features aimed at creating a festive and engaging community atmosphere.
