Oxford, AL – The City of Oxford will host its monthly Community Health Series on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, with a focus on celebrating and supporting youth in the area. The free event will take place at the Oxford Civic Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
This month’s program is designed to highlight the importance of youth development and community engagement. Attendees will have access to a wide range of resources, activities, and presentations centered around wellness, education, and public safety.
Featured speakers for the event include Sarah Woolmaker, Assistant Director of the Anniston Museums and Gardens, and Daniel Phipps of the Oxford Police Department. Both will share insights on youth empowerment and the roles that local organizations can play in fostering a supportive environment.
In addition to the speaker presentations, visitors can explore community resource tables offering helpful information and services. Fun activities, including a bounce house, will be available, and attendees will also have opportunities to win door prizes and collect giveaways. Kona Ice will be on-site offering cool refreshments.
This monthly series aims to foster stronger connections within the community while promoting health and well-being for all ages.
