Calhoun County, AL –
The Calhoun County School System has announced that recent Weaver High School graduates KeShawn Allen and Harper Williams have qualified for the 2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships.
Both athletes earned their spots after standout performances at the Region 6 Junior Olympic Championships, held as a qualifier event for nationals. Allen and Williams each advanced in three events: the 300-meter hurdles, the 110-meter hurdles, and the long jump. The top eight finishers in each event qualified for the national competition, which will take place in Savannah, Georgia, beginning July 21.
