Anniston, AL – On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., SoundEmbrace and facilitator Danielle Hall will present “A Sanctuary of Stillness and Sound” — a restorative sound bath session hosted inside the historic Church of St. Michael and All Angels.
The event invites participants of all backgrounds to immerse themselves in a calming atmosphere supported by the resonant tones of quartz crystal singing bowls. Though the venue is a house of worship, the event is not religious in nature. Instead, the experience centers on quiet reflection, nervous system regulation, and emotional reconnection.
Held beneath the church’s soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows, the sound bath aims to provide a safe and serene space for guests to unwind. No prior experience is needed, and attendees are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, journal, or anything else that helps them feel at ease while lying on the floor.
Benefits often associated with sound healing include reduced stress and anxiety, better sleep, pain relief, and improved mental clarity. Organizers note that the experience may be particularly valuable for those navigating stress or seeking peace of mind.
Doors open at 5:45 p.m., and no entry is allowed after 6:10 p.m. Due to limited space, advance registration is encouraged.
