Anniston, AL –The City of Anniston, in collaboration with the Anniston Parks and Recreation Department Athletics, will host its annual Stop the Violence Day & Back to School Bash on Thursday, July 31, beginning at 5:00 PM at Zinn Park (101 W. 14th St.).
This free, family-oriented event aims to promote unity, encourage nonviolence, and support students as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The evening will feature live music, motivational speakers, free food, and school supply giveaways. Youth must be present to receive school supplies.
Organizers say the event is both a celebration of local youth and a reminder of the importance of fostering safe and supportive communities.
