Anniston, AL — The Anniston Museums and Gardens will host Feathers and Forms: Drawing in Monochrome, a hands-on drawing workshop on Sunday, October 19, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the museum’s campus on Museum Drive.
This engaging and relaxed session invites participants to take a closer look at the beauty and detail of birds through the art of drawing. Attendees will learn simple techniques to capture shapes, textures, and defining features using specimens from the museum’s bird collection as inspiration.
Designed for both beginners and those with prior drawing experience, the workshop emphasizes careful observation and step-by-step guidance. All materials are included in the class fee of $30 per person, with a $5 discount for AM&G members.
The class is open to ages 14 and up, with a maximum of 15 participants to ensure personalized instruction. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, October 14, and early sign-up is encouraged due to limited space.
