ANNISTON, AL — In celebration of World Reptile Awareness Day, the Anniston Museums and Gardens (AM&G) will host a special meet and greet on Tuesday, October 21 at 3:30 p.m. at the museum located on Museum Drive in Anniston, AL.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of AM&G’s fascinating scaly animal ambassadors while learning about their unique characteristics and important roles in the environment. The event aims to shed light on reptiles’ contributions to ecosystems and dispel common misconceptions about these often-misunderstood creatures.
Guests will also learn about the care and conservation practices that help protect reptiles both in captivity and in the wild. The program is included with regular museum admission and is free for AM&G members.
The Anniston Museums and Gardens continues its mission to educate the public about the natural world through engaging, hands-on experiences that encourage respect and curiosity for all species.
