Donoho School 3rd Grade Choir Brings Holiday Cheer to Anniston City Hall

Anniston Christmas

ANNISTON, AL — The holiday season began on a festive note in downtown Anniston this morning as the Donoho School 3rd Grade Choir performed a selection of Christmas carols on the front steps of City Hall. The performance drew smiles from city staff, passersby, and visitors, creating a cheerful start to the day.

Children sang classic holiday songs, filling the downtown corridor with music as the city’s Christmas tree—now fully lit for the season—stood bright behind them. The tree, located near City Hall, has become a popular backdrop for families and residents looking to capture seasonal photos.

City officials encouraged the community to come downtown to enjoy the decorations and to take part in upcoming holiday events.

The celebration continues later this week with Anniston’s annual Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The parade will feature floats, performers, and community groups as they make their way through the downtown district.
