Weaver, AL – The Weaver Senior Citizen Program, in partnership with the Weaver Lions Club, will host “Eggstravaganza In The Park” on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The six-hour community event is open to the public and will take place at the Weaver Senior Center.
Organizers have planned a variety of activities designed to appeal to families and residents of all ages. A highlight of the event will be an Easter egg hunt for children ages 12 and under, providing a seasonal activity for younger attendees.
Additional attractions will include a petting zoo, bounce house, and face painting, along with multiple vendors set up inside the senior center offering goods and services. The Weaver Lions Club will also host a Boston butt sale as part of the event.
The event aims to bring the community together through a mix of entertainment, food, and local participation. With free entry and a range of activities, organizers are encouraging families to attend and enjoy the day’s offerings.
Vendor opportunities are also available for those interested in participating. Spaces are offered at a set fee, with options that include access to electricity. Vendors will have the flexibility to set up either the day before the event or on the morning of.
