Piedmont, AL – The Piedmont Public Library is inviting the community to an interactive educational event on Thursday at 3:30 p.m., featuring a live reptile presentation and the official kickoff of its Summer Reading Program.
The event, held in partnership with The Snake Show Company, will take place at 106 N Main St in Piedmont. Attendees will have the opportunity to see a variety of reptiles up close while learning about their habitats, behaviors, and roles in the ecosystem.
In addition to the live animal presentation, library staff will be available to assist families and students with registration for the Summer Reading Program. The program is designed to encourage reading during the summer months and offers activities and incentives for participants of various age groups.
The event is open to the public and aims to provide both an engaging educational experience and an opportunity for the community to get involved in seasonal library programming.
