ANNISTON, AL — As part of its Adult Summer Reading Program, the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library will host an informative event titled “Spot the Scam: A Guide to Fraud Prevention” on Wednesday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m.
This free workshop will empower attendees with the knowledge and tools to identify and avoid common online and phone scams. Participants will learn about the latest fraudulent tactics, how scammers target individuals, and what practical steps can be taken to safeguard personal and financial information.
The session is open to all adults and promises to be both engaging and educational. Attendees will also earn three rewardsas part of the library’s Summer Reading incentive program.
