ANNISTON, AL – The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County is inviting local teens to explore their creativity with a fantasy-themed craft session on Thursday, July 10, at 4:00 p.m. The event, titled “Teen Hobbit Doors,” will be held at the library’s main location at 108 E 10th Street in Anniston.
Geared toward teens, this free event offers participants the opportunity to design and create their own miniature Hobbit-style doors, inspired by the world of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The program encourages imaginative expression and provides a hands-on opportunity to engage with literary-inspired art.
Library staff say the program is part of their ongoing teen outreach and enrichment efforts, aiming to provide fun and meaningful activities that spark creativity and interest in storytelling and crafts.
All materials will be provided, and no prior registration is required.
