Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museums and Gardens invites gardening enthusiasts to its 3rd annual Longleaf Botanical Gardens Seed Swap, set to take place on Saturday, January 25, at 9 a.m. at Museum Drive in Anniston. This mid-winter event is an excellent opportunity to plan ahead for the growing season and exchange seeds with fellow gardeners.
The program will feature Jan Stone, a local heirloom seed enthusiast from Cedartown, Georgia. Stone will share her expertise on the challenges and rewards of saving and swapping seeds, providing valuable insights for attendees of all experience levels.
Participants are encouraged to bring seeds to trade, with options such as annual flowers, heirloom or exotic vegetables, and flowering vines being particularly welcome. This exchange offers the perfect chance to diversify gardens and share unique plant varieties with the community.
