Anniston, AL – Anniston Museums and Gardens will host a St. Patrick’s Day-themed event on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at its location on Museum Drive in Anniston.
The event, titled “Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day,” is designed to offer a mix of educational activities and interactive experiences for attendees of all ages. Organizers have planned a variety of hands-on and exploratory activities centered around Irish-themed traditions and folklore.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in shamrock splatter painting, an art activity inspired by the holiday’s iconic symbol. In addition to creative programming, the event will feature a live animal presentation, where attendees can meet a snake and learn about the legend associated with Ireland’s lack of snakes.
A gold coin hunt will also take place throughout the museum’s exhibit halls, providing an interactive element for guests as they explore the facility.
