ANNISTON, AL – Families looking for an engaging indoor summer activity are invited to attend the Summer Story and Craft Hour at the Anniston Museums and Gardens. The next session will take place Wednesday, July 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the museum campus on Museum Drive in Anniston.
The event is part of a recurring weekly series designed for preschool and elementary-aged children. Each session features a new storybook reading followed by a themed craft activity. Organizers say the program is intended to help children learn more about the natural world in a creative and age-appropriate way.
While the program is tailored to young children, all ages are welcome to attend. In addition to the Wednesday sessions, the museum also offers a Saturday option at 10:00 a.m. throughout the month of July. Saturday events take place in the Anniston Museum of Natural History auditorium.
Participation is included with the cost of daily admission and is free for Anniston Museums and Gardens members.
