On Sunday, August 15th the Anniston Natural History Museum and the city of Anniston put out a notice that the Natural History Museum, Berman Museum, and Longleaf Botanical Gardens was closed to the public until further notice to undergo maintenance operations.  The following notice was sent out by Public Information Officer, Jackson Hodges. 

UPDATE: 4:20pm 8/16/2021 – The Museum has announced it will reopen on 8/17/2021 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm with the last admission sold at 4:30pm. The Berman Museum remains closed.

ANNISTON, AL — The Anniston Museums and Gardens’ (AMAG) facilities will be closed until further notice for maintenance and planning operations. The Anniston Museum of Natural History (800 Museum Dr, Anniston, AL 36206), the Berman Museum (840 Museum Dr, Anniston, AL 36206), and the Longleaf Botanical Gardens (920 Museum Drive, Anniston, AL 36206) are all undergoing maintenance as well as planning processes for future upgrades to various facilities.

All three entities will be temporarily closed until further notice. When the maintenance and planning operations are complete, notice will be given as to the reopening of all three facilities.
