Anniston Public Library to Host Teen Nerf War as Part of Summer Reading Program

Teen Nerf War

ANNISTON, AL — The Public Library of Anniston-Carnegie is inviting local teens to gear up for an exciting afternoon of fun and friendly competition at the upcoming Teen Nerf War on Thursday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m.

Held as part of the library’s ongoing Summer Reading Program, the event promises a high-energy battle experience where participants can either bring their own NERF blasters or use ones provided by the library. Designed for teenagers, the event offers a safe and entertaining way to engage with peers, burn off some energy, and participate in summer programming that encourages library involvement.

Attendees are reminded to check in with their Summer Reading Program cards to receive a participation punch—an incentive that supports continued involvement in the program’s scheduled activities throughout the summer.

The library continues to offer a diverse lineup of events aimed at promoting literacy and community engagement among all age groups.
