Jackson Hodges, Anniston Public Information Officer, released information regarding warming stations being open to the cities homeless community.  The stations are located at the Carver Community Center and will be open Nov. 13th at 5:00 PM until Nov. 17th at 7:00 AM. This initiative was started by the Community Task Force on Homelessness.

The City of Anniston would like to make everyone aware of our Public Warming Station that will be available at the Carver Community Center (720 W 14th St, Anniston, AL 36201) from Nov. 13th at 5:00 PM until Nov. 17th at 7:00 AM.

This warming station effort is being led by the City of Anniston’s Community Task Force on Homelessness. The Anniston City Council established the Community Homelessness Task Force to provide policies, plans, and programs to facilitate and coordinate efforts among community partners to improve the response to the homeless population.
