Anniston, AL – In a hit-and-run incident, a 4-year-old child was struck by a vehicle on McDaniel Ave on March 16, 2024 as reported earlier. The Anniston Police Department responded to the scene, finding the child with a broken leg, and the driver of the vehicle missing.
Following an investigation fueled by tips from the community, the authorities were able to identify a suspect. On March 26, 2024, the Anniston Police Department announced the arrest of 20-year-old Amarie Curry in connection with the felony hit-and-run.
