Jacksonville, AL – Pink Heals Eastern Alabama will host its Knock Out Childhood Cancer Awareness Ride on Saturday, September 6, at 10 a.m. The event begins at Johnson Giant Food in Jacksonville and will continue with a ride to Heflin.
The ride is part of the organization’s effort to mark the start of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles in gold, the symbolic color of childhood cancer awareness, as a way to show support for children and families impacted by cancer.
Pink Heals Eastern Alabama is a volunteer-based group that organizes events across the region to raise awareness and provide community support for individuals and families facing cancer. This awareness ride brings together riders, community members, and advocates to stand united in the fight against childhood cancer.
