ANNISTON — Anniston Museums and Gardens will host a special Berman Escape Room experience on Saturday, Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug. 16, at the Berman Museum Classroom.
The interactive activity places participants inside a fictional scenario inspired by the Berman Museum. According to the event description, guests touring Farley and Germaine Berman’s home and artifact collection become trapped after accidentally triggering a booby trap in Mr. Berman’s office. Participants must work together to solve puzzles, crack ciphers, and uncover clues in an effort to locate a hidden spare key before time runs out.
The escape room is open to groups of two to six participants ages 10 and older. Children ages 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Sessions are scheduled for:
- Saturday, Aug. 15: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 16: 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.
The cost is $60 per group, with Anniston Museums and Gardens members receiving a $5 discount per group. Pre-registration is required, and admission to the Berman Museum exhibit galleries is not included with the escape room experience.
The event will take place at the Berman Museum Classroom on Museum Drive in Anniston.
