Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center will host Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters on Friday, July 10, at 7:30 p.m.
The concert will take place at the Oxford Performing Arts Center, located at 100 E. Choccolocco St., Oxford, Alabama.
The Boxmasters are touring in support of their 21st studio album, In The Bay, which was released on June 12. According to the event description, the album was inspired by time spent in Morro Bay, California, and features a blend of 1960s rock influences with a strong nod to The Beach Boys’ signature sound. Longtime collaborator Teddy Andreadis joins the band on piano, adding vintage-inspired textures to the record.
The band’s 2026 “Morro Rock Tour” began in June and is scheduled to continue through August with performances across the United States. Formed in 2006, The Boxmasters are led by J.D. Andrew and Bud Thornton and have built a catalog rooted in classic rock influences, including artists such as The Beatles, The Byrds, The Who, ZZ Top and Steve Miller.
