CALHOUN COUNTY, AL — All lanes of Calhoun County 109 near Alabama 202 have reopened following a single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle Saturday morning.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred at approximately 10:16 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. The incident initially blocked all lanes of Calhoun County 109 near its intersection with Alabama 202.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division responded to the scene and investigated the crash. Motorists were initially advised that the roadway would remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
ALEA later confirmed that all lanes had reopened and the roadway was clear.
