JACKSONVILLE, AL — The Jacksonville State University Department of Art and Design will host the 5th Annual Calhoun County Community Art Show on Friday, June 26, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the JSU Art Gallery, located at 700 Pelham Road North in Jacksonville.
The annual exhibition celebrates local artistic talent and provides an opportunity for community members to showcase their work. This year’s theme is “Nature in Art.”
In addition to community-submitted artwork, the exhibition will feature pieces created through the “Wild Alabama: Conservation Through Art” workshop series held at JSU during the spring semester.
Organizers said the event is free and open to the public, welcoming visitors of all ages to view the artwork and support local artists.
