The program will feature a collection of music that reflects America’s history and cultural heritage, including patriotic anthems, traditional folk melodies, march tunes, and choral arrangements. Selections will include familiar favorites such as America the Beautiful and God Bless America.

Organizers say the concert is designed to celebrate the nation’s milestone anniversary through music that has played a significant role in American life across generations.

The Oxford Community Chorus continues to see growing participation and audience support. The chorus’ 2025 Christmas concert featured its largest ensemble to date, with 75 members performing before a record audience of nearly 1,000 attendees.

The concert will be held at the Oxford Performing Arts Center, located at 100 W. Choccolocco Street in Oxford.

Community members are invited to attend the free event and enjoy an evening of patriotic music in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
