Celebrate Halloween by Sending a Card to Patients at Children’s of Alabama

Send Halloween cards to patients at Children’s of Alabama

Birmingham, AL – Halloween is all about treats, and this year, you can help brighten the day for patients at Children’s of Alabama by sending them a special Halloween card. The hospital’s annual Halloween greeting card drive, sponsored by Protective, runs from October 14 through October 30.

To participate, simply visit Children’s of Alabama Halloween Card Drive, choose one of three card designs, and submit your selection. Hospital staff will print and distribute the cards to patients on October 31, helping them celebrate the holiday.

For the past decade, Protective has supported Halloween activities at Children’s of Alabama, ensuring that young patients have a fun and festive experience, even while in the hospital. However, the hospital is unable to accept in-person donations, food, candy, stuffed animals, toys that depict violence, religious items, crocheted or knit items, or any gently used or homemade items on behalf of patients.

Since 1911, Children’s of Alabama has been dedicated to providing specialized medical care for ill and injured children throughout Central Alabama. Ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report, Children’s of Alabama serves patients from across the state and beyond. As a private, not-for-profit medical center, the hospital also serves as the teaching hospital for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) pediatric medicine and surgery programs.
